Petsecure Now Exclusive Provider of Trial Pet Health Insurance for Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) Adopters

WINNIPEG – September 6, 2016 – Petsecure, Canada’s leading pet health insurer and the Animal Rescue Foundation of Alberta (ARF) are proud to announce they have reached an agreement to make Petsecure’s Adoptsecure program the exclusive provider of trial pet health insurance for ARF pet adopters.

“We’re proud to partner with the Animal Rescue Foundation of Alberta, to encourage pet owners to see the value in pet health insurance to benefit their animals,” said Rod Cunniam, Petsecure’s President and COO. “We’re happy we can help ARF continue to provide excellent care for Alberta’s dogs and cats.”

“ARF puts our animals' health and welfare first”, said Troy Chadwick, ARF Director. “While in our care, all animals receive all veterinary care required. Ensuring our animals lead healthy, happy lives in their adoptive homes is our goal; however animal health can be unpredictable. Pet insurance is just one way our forever homes can protect themselves against unexpected veterinary costs, providing them with assurance that they will be able to help their new family member during a health-related event.”

The Adoptsecure program is a six-week trial insurance policy that provides pet owners with pet health insurance coverage valued at up to $500 after they adopt a dog or cat from participating shelters.

With over 1.2 million pets protected, Petsecure is Canada’s largest pet insurance provider offering different plans to suit the unique needs of individual pets. The pet health insurance plans can include coverage for veterinary visits, dental coverage as well as alternative and preventative care. Petsecure works to provide a variety of plans that help to protect pets and to give owners peace of mind.
