Ontario Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA)

Our Territory Managers had a great time at the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA)’s Annual Conference and Trade Show in Toronto last week!

The Ontario Veterinary Medical Association is Canada’s largest veterinary association, depended on by thousands of vets throughout the province of Ontario as a source for news, resources, continuing education and much more. Their annual conference attracts over 1,400 delegates from the veterinary industry, offering world-class opportunities for participants to connect and learn.

“The OVMA is a great organization to be involved with, and we’re proud to be a part of the conference,” says Petsecure Territory Manager Tanya Butson (Southern Ontario). “This year we saw more professionals with a true interest in learning more about insurance and the positive impact it makes on practices and patients.”

Territory Manager Kerry McCarten (Greater Toronto Area – West) agrees.

“There was a lot more interest in visiting and asking questions,” she says. “It’s no longer just veterinarians who are attending, so we also got to meet with office managers and vet techs as well. It’s the largest vet show in Canada, and the number of people attending and visiting our booth continues to grow.

“There’s no doubt that our booth activities helped as well, as the word spread about our chocolate fountain and massage therapist!”
