Rod Cunniam

Division Vice-President

Rod is a passionate leader focused on delivering customer excellence. He is committed to working alongside our partners and industry experts to create leading-edge solutions that provide quality products and care for our customers. Not only responsible for the overall operations of Petline Insurance Company, Rod directly oversees our contact center, digital marketing and e-Business teams, as well as leads our customer experience experts.

He is a worldwide leader within the eBusiness profession and prior to joining Petline, led major online businesses and implemented best practice solutions in both domestic and international markets. He has held national technology leadership roles with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce and Bell Canada.

With his specialized combination of skills and expertise, and a track record for building high-performing teams that deliver customer excellence, Rod is uniquely positioned to promote and elevate awareness of pet health insurance in Canada.

Raegan Ahlbaum

Director, Call Centre

In over six years with the company, Raegan has served in a number of management roles. She began her career as Manager of Learning and Development, later acquiring two additional departments, Quality Assurance and Workforce Management.

For the past four years, she’s served as Manager of Customer Care, a role in which she’s accountable for attaining sales, service and retention targets while managing operational budgets, employee engagement and customer satisfaction.

Roxanne Chopee

Team Leader, Digital Marketing

Roxanne leads the Digital Marketing team in all digital print and marketing operations, a role she began in September 2015. Roxanne reviews new technologies to keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.

Prior to her current role, Roxanne was hired in 2012 as a Business Administrator on the Application Development team, where she worked to collaboratively assess the impact of changes and to increase the overall efficiency within the company.

Roxanne graduated with honours from the Business Analysis program at Winnipeg’s Red River College.

Christina Mitchell

Customer Care Sales Supervisor

Christina manages the sales team’s resources and priorities to ensure goals and targets are met.  She started as an insurance advisor over 11 years ago and has worked her way up through various roles, including sales/service representative, email team member, support specialist, team leader and now supervisor.

Christina brings years of customer service and sales to her role, as well as Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designation.

Neil McCamis

Team Leader, eBusiness

As eBusiness Team Leader, Neil is responsible for maintaining and improving the online customer experience, including online sales and the self-service portal.

Neil, who has been with the company since January 2012, completed a B Sc. with a major in Computer Science (Business minor) from the University of Manitoba. He has six years of previous experience developing web applications, including self-service portals, an online store and knowledge base for one of North America’s leading financial planning software companies.

April O’Neill


April joined our team in January 2017 from parent company Economical Insurance, where she held the role of Manager, Accounting. She currently leads our Accounting and Finance teams, which include payables and receivables.

April has her CPA, CA designation, and reports to head office as well as regulators such as Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) and Autorité des marches financiers (AMF). She’s responsible for tracking and analyzing financial performance as well as financial and insurance regulatory reporting.

Zoë Kubinec

Customer Experience Leader

Zoë’s job is to focus on the customer first. As Customer Experience Leader, she works on implementing customer experience strategies and helps our teams develop sales and service techniques.

A seven-year employee with CAIB certification, Zoë has worked in a number of areas within our company, from service to the e-loyalty team to sales leadership. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her role due to her experience dealing with  our customers first-hand.
